Model 915 has a capacity of 10 standard pint jars and 7 standard quart jars and is suitable for gas, electric, or flat top stoves. If you do use it on a flat top stove, use caution not to drop the unit from any distance onto the stove surface. This could cause damage to the stove top for which Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry will not be liable. **The 15.5 Qt Model 915 is NOT suitable for canning smoked fish.
Note: When jars and water are added, the 915 canner can increase in weight by approximately 20 to 30 pounds.
