The use of buckwheat shells as a filler is also environmentally friendly, sustainable, renewable and compostable. The carefully selected fabric is made from 100% organic cotton. It is soft, natural, not bleached, dye-free and high quality grade.

Shell Care Instructions:
- Machine wash in cold water
- Hang to dry or permanent press in dryer
- It is strongly recommended to avoid using tumble dry
- Do not use bleach
- Iron at medium temperature if necessary
Maintenance:
- Regularly expose your pillow to daylight close to a window or outdoors to freshen it up
- Do not leave the pillow out in inclement weather
- After a couple of years, spread the hulls on a large sheet and carefully shake to remove dust
Adjust your pillow:
- If it appears to be too high you may remove some buckwheat hulls
- To do so place pillow with zipper facing up and remove one cup at a time until preferred adjustment
- Place the buckwheat hulls in a paper bag for future use
Warning:
- Not recommended for children under 3 years of age
- Insert pillow so that the zipper is on the side opposite of the opening of the pillow case
- Never heat pillow in microwave oven, regular oven or leave close to a source of heat
