Melatonin is our body’s natural sleep hormone. Our body synthesizes melatonin when daylight decreases to induce sleep. Any imbalance in melatonin synthesis can lead to sleep problems such as insomnia, difficulty falling asleep, a lack of deep sleep or early awakenings. Melatonin supplements help re-set the body's sleep-wake cycle.

Recommended uses and benefits:

• Helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep in people who fall asleep slowly
• Helps increase the total sleep time in people suffering from sleep restriction or altered sleep schedule (e.g. shift-work)
• Helps to re-set the body's sleep-wake cycle
• Helps to minimize jet lag
• 10 mg of melatonin per tablet

Medicinal Ingredients:
Each tablet contains

• Fast release melatonin 5 mg
• Prolonged release melatonin 5 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:

• Croscarmellose sodium
• Dicalcium phosphate dihydrate
• Hypromellose
• Magnesium Stearate
• Microcrystalline cellulose
• Silicon dioxide
• Sodium copper chlorophyllin

Directions (Dosage):
Adults

• Take 1 tablet once a day, at or before bedtime
• For jet lag, take at bedtime after darkness has fallen, while travelling, and at destination until adaptation to the new daily pattern

Cautions and Warnings:

• Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks or if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia).
• Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness.
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking medications for seizure, blood pressure, to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive medications), to affect mental state or increase sedation, steroids or blood thinners, if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraine.
• Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin.
• Stop use if allergy occurs or if you experience headache, confusion, or nausea.
