This ultra-quiet, dual hose 12,000BTU SACC / 14,000BTU Ashrae inverter portable air conditioner by Danby is perfect for cooling living spaces up to 55.7 sq. meters (600 sq. feet). The wireless smart control feature allows you to adjust the temperature from anywhere, anytime through voice control, while the unique air vent angle is 80-degrees wider than older models providing stronger air flow that reaches further and cools quicker.
Models manufactured before 2017 were tested under a different standard, ASHRAE, that rated the unit to a higher cooling capacity output.
While the new SACC rating BTU's are lower than the previous ASHRAE BTU's, the construction and cooling capacity of this model(s) remains unchanged.
The new SACC rating is defined by the Seasonally Adjusted Cooling Capacity.
