These giant bulbs are raised in Costa Rica to make sure they grow up strong. They are self-contained balls of energy with one goal: to explode into growth. They put on a impressive display but are easy to grow. While they are tropical plants, they blend into a variety of landscape designs from minimalist modern to English cottage style.

• Grow outdoors during the summer months
• Lift and store bulbs over winter or grow in planters indoors
• Individual leaves can measure in at 90 cm long
• Long lived perennials when properly over-wintered
