Medicinal Ingredients:

• Each capsules contains Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 (whole cell) 2.5 billion CFU (250 mg)

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:

• Hydroxypropyl methycellulose, lactose monohydrate [milk], magnesium stearate.

Directions (Dosage):

• For adults and kids aged 2 years and older: Take 2-4 capsules, 1-3 times a day (maximum 12 capsules per day)
• For children 2 to 5 years old, open the capsules and add the contents to food or beverage
• To support gastrointestinal health or a favorable gut flora, take 2-4 capsules daily
• To prevent or reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea, or to treat symptoms of acute infectious diarrhea, take 4 capsules daily
• To reduce the risk of traveler's diarrhea, take 4 capsules daily starting 5 days prior to the trip and for the entire trip duration
• In all cases, if you are on antifungals, take at least 2-3 hours before or after
• Can be taken with any standard antibiotic course

Cautions and Warnings:

• Allergens: Milk and may contain traces of soy
• Do not use in the acute-care setting with critically ill patients, especially in those individuals with open arterial and venous access required
• Do not use for any individual with/or in the surroundings of any patient with a central line or port (central lines include short- and long-term central venous catheters and peripherally inserted central catheters)
• Do not use if you are severely immunocompromised or have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, long-term corticosteroid treatment, pre- or post-transplant)
• Do not use if you have an allergy to any component of the product (especially to yeast)
• Do not use and consult a health care practitioner if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain
• Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have an abnormal condition of the gastrointestinal tract lining (i.e. ulcer or other GI tract disorders). The concurrent administration of S. boulardii and intestinally acting antifungals may decrease the efficacy of this product. Treatment does not replace rehydration when this is necessary
• When using this product flatulence, constipation, thirst, pruritus, rash, angioedema or anaphylactic reaction may occur
• When using this product very rare cases of fungemia or sepsis have been observed in patients with central venous catheters or in immunocompromised or critically ill patients
• Stop use and ask a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen or persist beyond 3 days
